Started my filming at home doing the beginning of the make-over on my sister which includes showing her lookin her worst and asking her how she feels about her appearance.
Also started my introduction to the project describing what will be included in my peice.

media studies

First lesson consisted of learning the lesson plan and developing an email address and also coming up with several design ideas for filming.

In the second lesson we had to search for short programmes that were connected with our filming idea. I searched some 3muinite wonders on you tube and wrote up what typical conventions were shown, angle shots, narrative etc, I also looked at a programme called ‘Snog, Marry, Avoid’ and wrote down in rough what happened during the programme.

For the third lesson I made my questionnaire to discover how people viewed reality TV and their impressions of it. I also printed the questionnaires off got 10 people age 17-18 to complete them and gave another 10 to be completed by 15-16 year olds. To finish I wrote up my diary of what I have been doing in media studies so far.

Started my storyboard. Managed to finish drawing up rough pictures and half finished writing up what was happening in each picture.

Carried on with my textual analysis on reality make-over shows.
Missed out on a few lessons due to family troubles but did some filming of hair being coloured for my documentary.

Carried on with the final textual analysis of the snog marry avoid programme, received all my questionnaire results back.

Film Studies-

Today we have to pick a film to analyse. I have choosen to do Shaun of the Dead and will focus on the camera shots and lighting used throughout the beginning of the film (about 7 minuites long.)

We learnt how to write out a proper script in lesson and i've started writing mine up for my project.
Have written down a draft for what my film will be about, containing basic information to what happens.

Have completed questionnaire's, sent them off to be filled in, had all back but there were problems with some so i had to send some more out to other people.
